Earthquake in France

An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.4 struck southeast France on the 11th, which is rare in the region and deeply felt by local people, EURONET reported. Four people have been injured in the earthquake, including one seriously, according to official sources. French electric power group decided to suspend the nuclear reactor of Clua nuclear power plant for preventive testing.

According to the French Earthquake Center office, the earthquake occurred at 11:52 local time. The epicenter of the earthquake was located in the south of Montelimar City, Delong Province, southeast France, with a focal depth of about 10 km. The surrounding cities such as Lyon and Montpellier were obviously affected.
