The annual salary of gifted youth is 2.01 million

On August 3, the reporter of Changjiang Daily learned from Huazhong University of science and technology that Zhang Ji and Yao Ting, doctoral students majoring in computer science and technology of Huazhong University of science and technology, were selected as Huawei’s “gifted youth”. Last year, Zuo Pengfei, a doctoral student of the University, entered the “gifted youth”.
Huawei’s “gifted youth” project is a project initiated by Ren Zhengfei to attract top talents with top challenges and top salaries.
The salaries of “gifted teenagers” recruited by Huawei are all paid according to the annual wage system. There are three grades in total, with a maximum annual salary of 2.01 million yuan.
At present, only four people in the world receive the highest salary of Huawei’s “gifted youth”, with an annual salary of 2.01 million yuan. They are Zhong Zhao (Bachelor degree in software engineering from Huazhong University of science and technology, and doctor graduated from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences in pattern recognition and intelligent system), Qin Tong (Bachelor degree in control science and engineering of Zhejiang University, and doctor degree in robot direction of Hong Kong University of science and Technology), Zuo Pengfei (Bachelor and doctor graduated from computer major of Huazhong University of science and Technology), Zhang Ji (Doctor degree) In Huazhong University of science and technology.
After seven rounds of rigorous screening
Huawei’s recruitment criteria for “gifted youngsters” are very strict. Generally, it takes about seven rounds of process: resume screening, written examination, initial interview, supervisor interview, several ministers’ interview, President interview and HR interview. In each link, we will be subject to strict assessment and screening, so we will encounter many challenges and obstacles. Any link with problems or poor performance may fail, which is very difficult.
Zhang Ji, from Tongshan, Hubei Province, came into contact with Huawei at an international conference. At about 8:00 p.m. on August 3, Zhang Ji told reporters that he joined Huawei at the end of May this year. Huawei’s recruitment mainly focused on research direction and scientific research ability, of which the research direction was the most favored by Huawei.
With a lot of people’s dream job, Zhang Ji’s heart is very calm. “I’m not a gifted teenager. To remove the aura of a gifted teenager, I’m just an ordinary person.” He said that he now shoulders greater responsibility and pressure. To quickly integrate into the team, he should not only do the things assigned by the leadership, but also think about how to do a good job in the future, so as to live up to expectations.
During her undergraduate period, Zhang Ji, born in 1993, has always ranked among the top in the college and department. She has successfully passed CET-4 and CET-2, and obtained the vocational qualification certificate of the national itat vocational skills competition. She has become a “super learning bully” in the eyes of teachers and students.
“It’s exaggeration.” Zhang Ji said that her parents had a great influence on her when she was a child. At that time, my mother was a kindergarten teacher, my father was a middle school teacher, and I was the only child. “My parents especially respected my choice, and I developed a sense of self-determination when I grew up.”.
“No matter what I do or not do, my parents will not make a decision for me.” Zhang Ji said that this practice of allowing oneself to think independently has been affecting the present day.
“Gifted youngsters” like to plan well, step by step
Reading postgraduate and doctoral is the goal that Zhang Jichu recognized when he entered the campus. He has no procrastination in his study and likes to make plans step by step, because it often makes him get twice the result with half the effort.
“Where there is a will, there is a way.” Zhang Ji studied hard and prepared carefully. Finally, in 2016, she became a doctoral student majoring in computer system structure, and continued to study in Wuhan National Laboratory of optoelectronics, Huazhong University of science and technology.
For scientific research, Zhang Ji thinks that the first thing is to do research, then to share with friends, then to dare to think, and finally to put into action, “we must dare to think, even dare not think, that will not trigger inspiration.”.
Zhang Ji’s efforts also made his work come true.
Because of the large number of scientific research projects, Zhang Ji basically did not seek a job deliberately or even submitted his resume voluntarily. It was the enterprises or universities that contacted him.
At present, Zhang Ji, who works at Huawei’s Shanghai Research Institute, said that Zuo Pengfei, the last senior student, was selected as Huawei’s “gifted youth” last year, which is his own example. The two people added wechat to each other, and they often communicated because they were busy at ordinary times. Even when they were in school, their tutors were different and their research directions were different. They did not meet each other. On August 2 this year, the two men met for the first time in an activity in Shenzhen.
Yao Ting, Zhang Ji’s Ph.D. student at Huazhong University of science and technology, was also selected as Huawei’s “gifted youth” this time and has signed a contract. Yao Ting may have to wait until August to report to Huawei.
Is there anything I want to say to my younger brother and younger sister? Zhang Ji said that he did not have anything extraordinary, with his own experience, that is, first of all, he should make a plan for his choice, and then he must adhere to it, have confidence, and do not give up easily. In addition, after achievement, we should guard against arrogance and rashness, sink down, and focus on the next goal. We should improve at every stage, keep learning and make continuous progress.
