South Korea’s first confirmed prisoner


Novel coronavirus pneumonia was diagnosed on 1 prisoners in Kimcheon prison in Gyeongbuk, South Korea. It is the first time that there have been prisoners in South Korea, and there have been previous cases of prison guards, the Yonhap reported. 29 prisoners were infected with new crown pneumonia.
A novel coronavirus was sampled from local health institutions and diagnosed with a respiratory syndrome after 60 year old prisoners in Kimcheon prison. An epidemiological survey will be carried out to clarify the route of infection and contact of prisoners.
