Salmonella infection in the United States

According to US media reports, two outbreaks of Salmonella infection occurred in the United States recently, covering most states of the United States. 938 people have been infected in 48 states due to one infection or contact with poultry; another, or onion related, has infected nearly 400 people in at least 31 states. Diarrhea, fever, vomiting and other symptoms will occur within 72 hours after human infection with Salmonella, especially in the elderly and infants.
