India relaxes visa to China

According to the website of the Indian Embassy in China, the Indian government has decided to further relax the e-visa policy for Chinese citizens.

From October 2019, Chinese citizens can apply for a five-year e-TV with multiple entry visas and a visa fee of $80. In addition, potential visitors can use a single-entry e-tourist visa within 30 days (e -TV), the cost is reduced to $25; from April to June, the 30-day e-TV visa costs only $10.

In addition, a multi-entry e-tourism visa (e-TV) will continue to be issued for a fee of $40; in addition to the above-mentioned e-tourism visa (e-TV), the existing e-health visa, e-conference visa and one E-commerce visas that can enter multiple times a year will continue to be issued on the Indian visa online platform.

The Indian Embassy in China said it expects this unilateral relaxation of e-tourism visas for Chinese citizens will further increase exchanges between the Chinese and Indian people and encourage more Chinese tourists to choose India as a tourist destination.
