Typhoon Mitag

Typhoon Mina, No. 18 of this year, was formed at 8 o’clock today. It is a tropical storm. Mina’s name comes from Micronesia, lady’s name. The center is about 1540 kilometers southeast of Taipei City, Taiwan Province, China, with a maximum wind power of 8 grades, 18 meters per second (about 65 kilometers per hour), and a central pressure of 998 hPa.
It is expected that Mina will move northwest at a speed of about 30 kilometers per hour, and its intensity will gradually increase. According to the Municipal Meteorological Bureau, it is expected that Mina will gradually approach the coast of East China in the future, which will bring some wind and rain effects to Shanghai in the early days of National Day, and we need to continue to pay attention to it.
